Kofukuwan | Masayuki Higuchi

Kofukuwan is a wan that is one size smaller than a chawan.
About 20 years ago, he taught me the joy of using these vessels.
It is a versatile bowl that can accommodate anything from matcha to coffee, other beverages, and food.
How you use this vessel is up to you. Although it doesn’t have a handle, I drink coffee in it every day.
Once you get used to it, you won’t feel any discomfort and it will become your favorite vessel.
By holding the vessel directly, a large amount of information can be transmitted through the hands.
This is an important element in appreciating vessels.
Please have fun using it in various ways.
