There are very few barrel-shaped pieces, making them very valuable. The Metropolitan Museum of Art has three water jars in its collection, and this tub-shaped water jar was one of them.

We can also make lids in the style you want, such as black lacquer finish, red lacquer finish, or dark brown finish that shows off the wood grain. (Special orders may incur additional charges.) If you require a special lid, please let us know.
