With regard to the work stated as Wood Box,
The work is generally put in a box made of paulownias. A signature of a potter is written in the box(=Hakogaki). Please understand that it takes time for approximately 2 weeks to make the box. It is also possible to make it in works that do not mention Wood Box.In that case it will be an extra charge. We would appreciate your understanding.

About shigaraki,
Shigaraki ware is rougher than Bizen ware, so it often leaks water.
Most large Shigaraki tsubo leak.
Water pressure is applied to particularly large tsubo, and there is a high probability that water will leak.
If you put water directly into the tsubo, it will be too heavy to hold.
When we put flowers in those big tsubo, we put another container inside the tsubo.
We call the container “Otoshi”.
These days, the most convenient thing is a plastic bottle.
You can easily cut the opening of the plastic bottle with a utility knife.
It is convenient to use by deciding the size of the mouth.
Please use it a lot and have fun!
