The deep scarlet color (Hidasuki), the black color and texture of the Haikaburi, the flow and color of the Goma are a wonderful contrast. The view of the Yohen on the other side is also a highlight.
Mr. Hoshino likes this work, and I like it too. This is probably one of the masterpieces among these Otsubo series. It is no exaggeration to say that this work represents modern Bizen ware.
