1989 Graduated from the Sculpture Department in Nagoya University of the Arts
Became an apprentice of Toshu Yamamoto (A Living National Treasure of Bizen ware)
Studied pottery techniques for five years
1994 Won a prize in Tokai Traditional Crafts Exhibition
1999 Won a prize in Japanese Traditional Crafts Exhibition
2000 Won a prize in the Exhibition of Contemporary Ceramics for the Tea Ceremony
2004 Showed works at Mino Ceramics Now 2004, held in Museum of Modern Ceramic Art, Gifu
2010 Built his own cave kiln
