To me, I can see the ideal tea practitioner who loves pottery (tools).
At present, it is unclear when and by whom this piece was made, but we can imagine that the tea master who found it loved it and used it with care. I don’t think this piece is particularly old. It may be from the early Showa period. But that’s not really important. What’s important is whether it has a good atmosphere or not.
It is important to take good care of your favorite tools, and this piece teaches us that.
The paulownia box has scratches and aging. The artwork also has aging. Please refrain from purchasing if you are not used to old artwork. Thank you.
