1967 Born in Tajimi city, Gifu prefecture
1986 Graduated from the Ceramic Department in Tajimi Technical High School
1989 Graduated from the Sculpture Department in Nagoya University of the Arts
Became an apprentice of Toshu Yamamoto, (a Living National Treasure of Bizen ware)
Studied pottery techniques for five years.
